First, I must mention that I downloaded and listened to it. The title track is a copy of "If I Ever Die" by Candlemass, lacking the pathos and epicness. "Die with Honor" isn’t a song but Eric Adams rambling pseudo-fascist nonsense. The others are a triumph of mediocrity and stereotypes. As for the multilingual ballad, I listened to the one in English; the Italian one reminds me of Al Bano, the Spanish one recalls Julio Iglesias, and the English one sounds like any boring singer. They are finished, and you are a fake...

Personally, I would recommend listening carefully to an entire album, and not just 5 minutes here and there... As for Tolkien's works, countless metal bands have drawn inspiration from them; for example, Blind Guardian has built an entire career on that.

I can assure you that jazz fanatics are absolutely like metal fanatics, and both are like fanatics of anything, as you say, "they would flee in horror" at anything that doesn't fit into their world. To respond to Stoney, I'm not sure I could describe what a band like Ephel Duath communicates to me; I can only say that they fall into that category of bands, like Meshuggah, Cynic, Tool, and Dillinger Escape Plan, that completely captivate me. For example, I really enjoy reading while listening to music; with some of the mentioned bands, I can't focus on my reading because I'm so absorbed by the music. With this example, I hope I've satisfied your curiosity.
