which quote?
It’s not by any chance So What!
Because otherwise it's too easy, it’s the title of a song by the Anti Nowhere League covered by Metallica.
Let me know if I’ve won the Cliff Darrel D'Oro!!!!

I just finished listening to the album, so I will give a hot take. I was speechless; when I read that it was Swedish Death, I was a bit skeptical, and when I'm skeptical, I don’t buy the album right away but have it gifted from a torrent, then if I like it, I buy the original. The album is beautiful; it has all the characteristics I look for in a record: technique, speed, originality, and power. Honestly, more than a Swedish record, it really feels like a classic Death album revisited in a modern way. Beautiful! I will make it mine as soon as possible!!!

In my opinion, it cannot be said that metal was invented by this or that person, or by this or that band's music; it is simply the evolution of a genre, the Hard Rock of the 70s, which by the end of the 70s had reached its complete evolution/maturation. The early albums of Judas Priest demonstrate this. Anyone who knows the magnificent Beyond the Realms of Death, just to give an example, cannot possibly deny the influence that bands like Rainbow or even Led Zeppelin had on Priest and, consequently, on all of Metal!!!!!!!!

Honestly, it's been 3-4 years since Hammett realized he has a dick and so he stopped wearing makeup, grew his hair back and I don’t remember seeing him at the last concerts with nail polish. As for Tokio Hotel, I just don't think they have any reason to exist; in 2 years, no one will remember them anymore, because the gay fightettes who follow them will chase after the new coolest "band." Anyway, I never thought that a review on Metallica would spark a debate on the origins of our religion!!!!!!!

What do you think the new Metallica album will be like? I read an interview with Trujillo where he mentioned that the songs known as The New Song and The Other New Song won't make it onto the album, and honestly, I'm glad because those tracks were pretty awful. Meanwhile, in another interview, Kirk Hammett said that the songs have the same feeling as those on And Justice For All. Honestly, I don't know what to think; after all, it's been 10 years of waiting!!!!!

Judas Priest and Saxon kicked off the NWOBHM; honestly, I don't understand how anyone can say that Judas Priest aren't heavy metal. There must be a reason they're called Metal Gods, as in DEI DEL METAL. As far as I'm concerned, Painkiller is one hell of an album!!!

In fact, NWOBHM faded in the mid-80s; indeed, in 1986, bands like the aforementioned Iron Maiden and Judas Priest released two albums, Somewhere In Time by Maiden and Turbo by Priest, which completely distanced them from the aforementioned scene, never producing albums with those stylistic traits again. The second half of the 80s saw the explosion of thrash and the birth of death metal.

I agree with ktulu, Kill 'Em All is good but not on the level of the three subsequent albums, particularly And Justice For All, which will inspire all the techno-thrash of the '90s starting from the grandiose Meshuggah. In fact, just listening to their first album, Contradiction Collapse, makes it clear where they started to get to where they are today. As for the Black Album, aside from 4 or 5 tracks, the rest is absolutely nothing special. Many have reassessed this album after the obscenities that Metallica later committed, but that's another story. It's not a cliché to say that Metallica artistically died in 1989. If they had dissolved back then, today they would be remembered as a cult band, loved by a few but unknown to most.

As I said, this is my first review and I played it safe; I won't be reviewing Metallica anymore, nor will I review "old" bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and the like. As for Lethe, it's not about clichés but a simple historical fact, like saying that if the wheel hadn't been invented, we wouldn't have cars today.
