for longliverock: first of all, it’s PAINKILLER and not PAINKILLERS. Over the last 10 years, METAL has evolved greatly—listen to bands like EPHEL DUATH, MESHUGGAH, DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, TOOL and let me know what you think. If you’re one of those stubborn defenders stuck in 1984, then that’s your problem!!!!! P.S. if by commercialization you mean crap like nu metal or metalcore, then we can discuss it, but always keeping in mind that the aforementioned genres of metal don't really have much to offer.
