Dear Lux, how can you say that there hasn’t been any innovation in metal? Listen to "Sad Wings of Destiny" by Judas Priest (the very first heavy metal album) and then listen to the latest by Martyr, and you'll see that there has been innovation, and plenty of it!!!!!! Huh.........

you are absolutely right dear ugly but what do you want me to say, after 30 years there are still people who think that metal is only maiden metallica and slayer!!!!!!!! moreover, going back to VOIVOD which I personally consider the best metal band of the 80s, I must tell you that besides the classics I really enjoy the latest albums with jason newsted even though obviously they have nothing to do with the masterpieces you mentioned. bye
