....The cul-de-sac
Right behind the cervix, in the last 2 cm of the vagina, lies the cul-de-sac, a tiny passage of the vaginal canal. This small area is extraordinarily rich in nerve endings and is so sensitive to mere contact that it can create instant orgasms. Unfortunately, it is difficult to access: you cannot reach it in this exploration. In most of us, the weight and position of the uterus tend to compress the vaginal canal that conceals the cul-de-sac. For this reason, it is necessary to lift the uterus, thereby overcoming its terminal bulge that hides the cul-de-sac. The penis can reach the cul-de-sac, but it cannot enter if the uterus is lowered. Instead, once raised, the uterus closes around the penisâable even to hold it, and the cul-de-sac thus reached leads to an intense and complete orgasm. The uterus rises when we perform uterine contractions and when we are very excited. However, mere excitement is not enough to lift the uterus high enough to trigger the orgasmic response of the cul-de-sac. It involves acquiring the tone and control necessary to lift and flatten the uterus during sexual intercourse, thereby stretching the vaginal canal and opening the passage of the cul-de-sac to penetration.
The vulva and vagina. Letâs look at them in detail.
Externally, starting from the top, we can see:
- the mons pubis
- the labia majora
- the labia minora
- the clitoris: glans, hood, frenulum
- the vestibule of the vagina
- the urethral opening
- the vaginal opening
- the perineum
- the anus
Internally:
- the uterus: a muscular organ that accommodates the fetus during pregnancy.
- the cervix or neck of the uterus: the lower part of the uterus that protrudes into the vagina.
- the vagina: a muscular-membranous canal that accommodates the penis during penetration, extending from the vulva to the uterus.
Pelvic muscles
Very important for female pleasure are the pelvic muscles that determine vaginal strength. To test them, insert a finger and try to squeeze it with the walls of the vagina. If you canât do it, try thinking about holding back urine, or alternatively, try to stop urinating once youâre in the bathroom. (Note: this third method is good for locating the pubococcygeal muscle, not for training it.) By doing this, you are contracting the vaginal muscles. If these muscles are weak, you may have issues with incontinence and/or difficulty reaching orgasm (it is the pubococcygeal apparatus that makes internal orgasms possible). Remember that a muscularly strong vagina is a vagina that feels more, and this is because:
- it reaches orgasm more easily and in a more intense and pleasurable manner because the muscles being trained are the same ones involved in orgasm.
- during penetration, by tightening, it will feel the partner better because it can pull and grip the penis (for the man, in fact, the difference will be tremendous).
