you can't review an album like this, so excuse me, but your review makes me want to bang Satriani instead of buying the album :-)

Listening to it again, I have to admit that this record is just pure technical crap and lacks a shred of soul................the dream were great in the nineties, now they seem to celebrate their style as instrumentalists and nothing more.......you’re absolutely right, TheJargonKing.. in this case, I was the idiot.
Steve Vai Sex & Religion

you can't write a review like a fucking sms with the k song and other mistakes that make the writing trivial. as for the album, good old steve missed the mark big time, gaudy like never before, technique for its own sake, rhythm scales played at a thousand, no no we are not there.... I have nothing against you, pepozzo, come on, see you at the next review ;)

But come on, one can’t possibly know all the music that exists on planet Earth. It’s true, there are some very valid reviews on this and I’m fully on your side. The world is beautiful because it is varied—what can we do about it? :)

IcnarF is absolutely right, you know how many talented and skilled people there are in the world, okay the dream come musicians deserve respect but idolizing them as prisoners or the best band is ignorant. Everyone in music conveys emotions, but we shouldn't make rankings or put anyone on a pedestal. I'm repeating myself: they are great musicians, but there are a ton of people you might not even know exist. If you want technique and composition combined, listen to the "cynic" for example...
