I also purchased this record some time ago, and I have to say that Ms. Allen, besides being a fascinating woman, is also an excellent artist. "The Life Of A Song" is, in my opinion, one of the best works, both in terms of composition and emotion. As you describe well in your review, there's a achieved "stylistic" maturity and immense class.... I can only agree, dear Jake.
