@Kant. You are probably right, if we applied a solar-powered engine to trains, they wouldn’t work. However, there are hundreds of other propulsion systems, one of which, for example, utilizes the magnetic field on the tracks, as is already happening on many railway lines in Japan. And then, where is it written that solar energy is unusable just because it doesn’t move trains? What about its use for heating buildings? Or for their electrical autonomy? And what about cars? An electric motor recharged with solar energy for cars would be more than sufficient (we’d have to give up going over 120 km/h, but we’ll manage). Furthermore, there’s not just solar and nuclear energy: do you know how much energy we could produce harnessing tides or the simple wave motion of the sea? In the Netherlands, for example, some devices are already being tested that exploit the osmotic gradient of the water in the canals and that of the sea to produce energy. The methods to extract electrical energy from nature are countless; it just takes some imagination. Dear Kant, 90% of the arguments that start with "technology does not allow for..." are wrong from the start. Technology exists; what prevents its realization is the market, just that. As long as the market as we know it is alive, we will see no improvement in our conditions, and we will continue to be poorer, let alone "fighting the crisis." And since the market, as it is, will never collapse, I can only hope for the extermination of the human race, as soon as possible. They say something will happen in 2012; let’s hope it’s definitive and leaves no traces. Best regards.

Rebelde, are you really listening to what Starblazer has to say, the laughing stock of all debaser? The one who gives Rhapsody and Cradle of Filth a 5 and wants a Manowar song as the national anthem? Trust me, just leave it be, it's a waste of time.

I really don't understand why with every damn album these guys put out everyone is outraged saying "oh, the U2 of old are gone," "oh, they got us used to something else," "oh, they've sold out to the market." WAKE UP!! They haven't made a worthy record for their name in 20 years!! Isn’t it time to face the facts or what?

Let's put it this way... another one of those little books that will serve the following purposes: 1) make the cannabis-loving student feel proud to go against the system 2) increase the popularity of the man whose name looms large on the cover (as well as on practically every newspaper, magazine, show, television program, etc.) 3) give the "go-ahead" (let's say the billionth) to those who are just waiting for yet another chance to play the victim and foster resentment towards the world of intellectuals, writers, journalists, and anyone involved with the written word and expression in general.

Yes, I know, they're a fundamental group, they're really strong and I listen to them while trying hard to understand, but unfortunately they make me feel like crap. I would never dare to say anything against them, but personally I can't stand them, I hate the way Sting sings, he sounds like he's barking.

Hell, it's clear that she's a hot one, obviously; after all, I would have some issues if I said she isn't. On the other hand, that's exactly her purpose. But I have to be honest, this type of hotness doesn't really do much for me; they all seem the same. Come on, insult me and make some easy jokes. :)

@Marpado, you know that often you and I are on the same wavelength, but this time I don't completely agree. It's true that many people are brain-dead and can't live without their 600 euro jeans to look cool, but it's not true that the problem is only there. There are families, for example, who don’t indulge in any particular luxuries and still can’t make ends meet. Because when at the end of the month you have nothing left, and you've spent everything on bills and groceries (let's say even a rather meager grocery), if your phone breaks and you want to buy one for 30 euros, even if it's old, you can't find it: they start from 100 and up. And if a pair of shoes or jeans breaks, it's the same. And if the car you haven't changed in 18 years breathes its last, as one might reasonably expect, at some point? Or worse, what if you need to get a test done, or a check-up and buy medications?

@Puntinicaz, do you really believe that, for example, a plasma TV costs 900 euros, or that an iPod costs 350 because the price is in line with production costs? Or that a pair of Nike shoes costs 250 euros based on production costs? Have you not realized that they exploit labor in third-world countries? What the hell kind of world are you living in?
