I’m concerned about how you never want to get into the specifics of issues, De Lorenzo. You limit yourself to classifying human behaviors and wondering if there’s a more or less coercive way to force them into the frameworks you deem correct. As if to say: there’s a way things should go (which you don’t delve into, which you don’t explain, which you don’t justify), and the discussion is solely about whether to use carrots or sticks to make it happen. You pride yourself on "moderation," but there’s not a single attempt to understand, to grasp, to put yourself in the shoes of those making “wrong” choices; there’s only a crude paternalism, as if you had overcome and understood certain things, when in reality you haven’t even brushed against them. It almost seems like you consider human beings akin to a herd of cattle to be trained to graze. I wonder what kind of existence you propose for people living in modern society. Over the past months, you’ve taken aim at communists, homosexuals, drug addicts, prostitutes
what do you expect from people, that they adapt to the grayness of following society’s rules and find gratification solely from that? And where’s the exception to the rule, the space to express one’s personality and individuality? You probably don’t even consider this problem, and that’s what truly scares me.

Franci!, you have no idea how sorry I am. Next time, I'll keep my thoughts much simpler, so you can understand them without too much effort. Bye.

Now I would generalize: when someone raises a criticism and the chorus responds that they are a loser instead? Isn’t that also a generalization? I would say yes, and in a worse way, because it is based on a universally accepted prejudice, namely that the man who criticizes women does so because he can’t get laid. It seems to me a nice way to delegitimize a person, I must say. Who knows if any of you enlightened ones would dare to tell a girl who has it in for men that she talks trash because she can't find someone to sleep with? No, right? Anyway, everyone here started with this assumption, and no one bothered to address the matter even to say "you're talking nonsense" and outline some argument. So don't come here to bother me.

Larock, for that matter not all Italians vote for Berlusconi either.

Comment 88: of course, that's how it works. If men criticize women, they are losers; a woman, on the other hand, can criticize a man because it is assumed that if a man criticizes a woman, it's only because she isn't giving it to him. Which doesn't mean being superficial, right? Then again: hearing a woman accuse a man of being a loser, that is, of not having women who give it to him, is the most sexist thing in the world, because it only insists on the (extremely sexist) assumption that a man is worth something only when he physically possesses a uterus willing to welcome him. And the sad thing is exactly this, that a lot of girls feel "tough" and righteous in insulting a man for maybe not having a woman, without realizing that they are just insulting themselves, in a way I would dare to say is pathetic, demonstrating no less ignorance than that attributed to them by the much-hated prejudices. Thank goodness not all of them are like that, fortunately.

Giola, "start questioning why women have wronged you... you might discover it’s also your fault." I repeat: but does this also apply to women who take issue with men who don’t meet their expectations? Let me explain: when a woman pushes away a man who hasn’t been strong, masculine, determined, resolute, ambitious enough, and then complains that men are just ball-less children, does it also apply to her to "discover that it’s also her fault," or is she perfectly justified? No, because it really seems that way to me, you know?

I don’t understand: when you try to offer a critique of female behavior, you’re a hypocrite because “you’ve had issues with women,” so your opinion is invalid and you shouldn’t speak. Instead, when you meet a girl and think “cute,” you automatically come off as a pig because when she was 15, her cousin showed her something and she was traumatized, then everything is fine and she has every right to accuse you. Can someone explain this to me?
