Magic that makes its way into the soul of the listener.
Teresa De Sio Teresa De Sio

I slightly prefer "Africana," but it remains a truly remarkable album. Core-a-core, when you write that De Sio fit among the various Senese, Esposito, and Daniele occupying her own role, you’re absolutely right. One could say that the sound of that Teresa (and also a bit of the current one) was part of the "Neapolitan Power" that had been around for some years. It all started with the names you mentioned above...
Sonic Youth Confusion Is Sex

Silas, you’re not that crazy; for me, "Confusion Is Sex" is almost a masterpiece. The "Daydream Nation" era had not yet arrived, yet Moore and his band were already proving they had the guts...
Tricky Mixed Race
Voto:
I wouldn’t exactly say Tricky has been finished for 10 years, Punisher; I’d say he’s in decline after the excellent and, for me, underrated "Blowback," even though I admit I haven't listened to "Knowle West Boy" yet, despite promising myself I would. If this new work is really that bad... well, I’ll share my thoughts if I happen to give it a listen.
Tony Esposito La Banda Del Sole

I really like "Gente Distratta" too. I have never listened to it in full. I would also recommend "Viaggio Tribale," which in some ways is like a return to the roots after the good pop interlude.
Baustelle I mistici dell'occidente

I prefer the two previous ones when it comes to their development, but it's still a great album.

Silas, I deduce you don't like "Psalm 69"...

Overrated. I would save just "Cuore Nero," "Sosta," "Terzo Mondo," and "Voglio Armarmi."

I forgot the rating on the review…

It's the album with which Ministry starts to gain traction. Just "The Angel" alone would be enough to earn it a place of honor. Of course, "The Land Of Rape And Honey," "The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste," and "Psalm 69" are slightly superior, but this one deserves quite a bit too. You did well to review it, and to think I wanted to do it myself...
