The Chemical Brothers Further
Voto:
I was one of those who thought they were done for. Listening to "Further," I have to change my mind. I never would have expected an album like this. Seriously. "Escape Velocity" instantly becomes one of their classics!

I'm only listening to it now. Perhaps some tracks suffer from a slight mannerism, but overall as an album it seems highly valid to me. Especially when hearing songs like "In The Distance Fading," "Lost Kingdom," and I would also include "Shining Through." Pure magic.

I subscribe to comment n.17 by Carlo Cimmino for its brilliance. @Hetzer: Oh, really? I say that Saviano would spit in Sangiorgi's face...

Paolo Conte Nelson

I'm finally listening to it for the first time, and I'm already starting to feel satisfied. L'Avvocato is one of those singer-songwriters who, over the years, has always tried to create something worthwhile, without expecting it to be exceptional. This "Nelson" seems to be the most interesting work from the post-"Una Faccia In Prestito" period (as you've already mentioned), although I admit I haven't listened to "Psiche" in depth. In several songs, it’s true that Conte echoes himself ("Jeeves" could be a return of "Gong-Oh" in another key, just as "Clown" inevitably makes me think of the return of "Max"), but even here he does it without indulging in mere exercises of self-indulgence. And what about the ending of "Nina"? Approved. I dare say it can be considered, in my opinion, a "Aguaplano" part two, in general, as an album...

I liked it.

I have stopped at the still great "Wish," and I still haven't figured out whether to move forward or stay where I am.
Francesco Nuti OcchioPinocchio
Voto:
You are very good. Honestly, I only needed to see the film a little to be convinced that, although it's certainly not the worst film ever, it is definitely bad, aside from a few fun special effects. Maybe one day I'll change my mind, but for me, Nuti great ends with "Donne Con Le Gonne." After that, aside from the exceptions of "Il Signor Quindicipalle" and perhaps "Io Amo Andrea," he has proven to be lacking in creativity, also due to the sad decline from which he seems to be recovering. Unfortunately, "Occhiopinocchio" does not break this trend. And to think that, during the same period, his former entertainment companion Alessandro Benvenuti had created a wonderful work, released at Christmas, two months after the official release of "Occhiopinocchio"...
