Highly anticipated in its time, there has been much talk and quite a few cries of censorship surrounding it. I've seen it too. Nowadays, I find myself somewhat dismissing it negatively, because, as compelling as the narrative voice (of Gandini himself) can be, it presents a mere superficial view of Italy, mainly suited for those shaped in the image of newspapers like "La Repubblica" (alongside that other overrated work called "Il Corpo Delle Donne"). But I ask, instead of getting lost in such tangents, isn’t it much more worthwhile to revisit "Network" or Gian Maria Volontè in "Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion"? Works that, in my opinion, are far more relevant today and truly significant in terms of quality.

I don't really like the review, while as for the album I'm still waiting for Sony to stop turning a blind eye to reissues and either grant a reissue or for a copy to show up around the places I usually frequent. It will be tough, but it's worth it.

A record perhaps unique in its simplicity, much like "In Perenne Riserva" by the aforementioned Io, Carlo (aka Carl Fath, producer of trance music). The subsequent works, to the best of my knowledge, while very listenable, do not reach his level. Whether or not this is a note of reproach towards Tricarico personally, I cannot say, considering who he is...

From the first time I saw it until today, I have always had a positive impression of this film, not least because Soavi, as has been said before, was able to thoroughly develop the underlying idea, even at the cost of choosing unusual characters for a horror movie. In my opinion, he is one of our directors with a distinctive style (and not the only one; I also think of the early Puglielli) who, when he wants, knows how to translate it exceptionally well into a cinematic format. @iside: But wasn’t the breast enhancement done afterwards? And yes, she is as stunning as a woman as she is not exactly definable as an actress (but here it’s acceptable).
