@GNANERA: I’m just a mix of the three: patetridists. Ah: the album really sucks donkey balls.

I would have serious doubts about the "greatest rocker in history"... although there's no denying that Sammy has a great and majestic golden voice. The review isn't bad, and even though there's the damn track by track, you don't make it weigh too much, and anyway, you’ve piqued my interest... I think I'll give it a listen.
P.S.: As for the use of electronics... well, I think it's simply a (disappointing) cultural baggage carried over from Van Halen.

"I wouldn't have bet a dime on Slash's first solo album".... you couldn't have started the review any better. I wouldn't have bet anything on it either, not even the hole of a dime. Damn, though, I liked it ^^

the review definitely needs improvement... I actually liked the album. Strange to say. I listened to it with my nose in the air but then it grabs you... and I don't think it's thanks to the special guests (on the microphones), stuff that, honestly, is starting to bore me in hard rock and metal albums (see the latest Avantasia...).

You know, Starblazer... the problem is that, no matter how much they may annoy you, you can't give them 1 and the "D Darkness" 5 when the D Darkness have plagiarized, in whole or in part, the glam-street movement of the seventies and eighties. This album is, for me, the only noteworthy one from the band that already sold out after the two Use Your Illusion (which, by the way, contain memorable pieces, among which Civil War, don't cry, november rain, shotgun blues, and who remembers them all anymore?)... -.-
