I'm not really in agreement with the legendary CORNELL. Excluding Images & Words and Awake, the DT released a rather anonymous album in their discography, that much-discussed "Falling into Infinity". They then immediately returned to their tracks with Metropolis 2 (or, better, Merdopolis 2). "Train of Thought" is an album that is totally different from their standards: more metal, more rock, less pretentious, and still technically impeccable. "In The Name of God" is a gem. Octavarium is an attempt to experiment with something new, like very heavy tracks, as heavy as DT can get, such as "Painkiller", or more radio-friendly and commercial tracks ("I walk beside you," which I like a lot). They don’t really like to experiment with new things because their audience, their fans, don’t like it when they experiment. They are kind of the Manowar of progressive or, if you will, the Deicide of Death...

Okay BRAT!", but don't get mad... you know, yesterday and today at work, I'm doing non-stop hours. So yesterday I put together some stuff, albums I had and wanted to listen to. That way, when I was all alone, I put on a few records to listen to and review. I also have my own website, and I did the review for my website too. Then I published it here... Yesterday I listened to some great stuff... like Palce Vendome, for example... but the DT immediately disgusted me, and the review practically wrote itself. What do you think? That I haven't listened to the latest from Stratocazzius? Not yesterday... but I did, and I even have the review. Ready that I won't send, to avoid incurring your wrath (I'm being very sarcastic).
Damn... I have to review bands like Criminal, then there are Lacuna Coil for which I just don't know what the hell to write.... and it doesn't end here! But why do we have to argue? I hate arguing, I like discussing... and you could have spared me the story about gastrointestinal problems for reasons I have no intention of discussing here (nothing against you, just my own issues).
Best regards.

VENUSIAN: do you know the game of "Bestia" (Neapolitan card deck)? Very, very popular here in Southern Italy...

I totally agree with The Spirit. The same White Skull with "The Dark Ages" have created a truly serious and dark concept album. To be honest, I wouldn’t place Armored Saint in the power category, but rather in the heavier one, even though many classify them as power... whatever... And "Imaginations from the Other Side" is an awesome album!

Indeed, power metal has truly childish and silly lyrics. Excluding Helloween, the latest from Firewind... then there are our locals Vision Divine and Labyrinth, who don’t seem to write nonsense to me. BUT in the context, you’re right... music for little kids. That's why I enjoy bashing them...
