the review doesn't do justice to the game (which has an excellent soundtrack, by the way). I remember... one of the most bastard games ever conceived by the human mind. Anyway, the extra point for having remembered it.

You're right on all fronts. To follow some decent anime, I go here and then watch them in streaming. Recently, I've been really impressed by Death Note, Aquarion, Shin Mazinger Z, and others. Anyway, the site is this (you mentioned Berserk... a must): SubZero Italian Fansub Or you can visit animeclick (lately I've been watching "Il Cacciatore di Elfi"... really cute, along the lines of The Slayers). Pokémon and Yu-gi-oh! have ruined the planet and turned kids into mindless idiots...

I think it's an excellent ranking! Now I'll start with mine:
the 5 giant robots: 1) Great Mazinga and Mazinkaiser (tie) 2) Jeeg 3) Goldrake 4) Daltanious 5) Voltron / 5 anime: 1) Devilman (even though, as an anime, it was terrible) 2) Ken the Warrior 3) Tiger Mask 4) Gigi the Spinning Top 5) The Slayers (even though it's not from the '80s, I like it a lot)
Then there are the beautiful Hurricane Polimar (which got a little remake "Holy Blood"), Gaiking (remade into "Legend of Dayku Mariu"), Kyashan (also remade into 3 beautiful OAVs and currently being re-remade into an anime "Casshern Sins"), the Getter Saga, the Gundam Saga, the Time Bokan Saga (Yattaman and brothers), Lamù, City Hunter (Ryo Saeba), Holly and Benji, the 5 Samurai..... My God... so many great memories... why do they only broadcast crap cartoons now? Does that seem fair to you? The only one that saved me was Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z (GT is awful). And currently, Naruto, which I follow with pleasure (more the manga than the anime). The rest... ugh! I have to go hunting! For example, I discovered a beautiful adventure-epic-romantic-fantasy anime "Romeo x Juliet"; Super Robot Wars that I need to watch, Kotetsu Shin Jeeg which I tie with Jeeg among the 5 giant robots, Aquarion (a nice plot even though it borrows from Evangelion) and He-Man... I don't know what else to write! haha!

Anyway, I think I’ll review Mazinkaiser VS Il Generale Nero and Kotetsu Shin Jeeg... I believe this needs to be done. I see it as a crusade ^^
Cyborg 009... I didn't follow it too closely, I don’t remember why, but the plot was really beautiful. An anime that never dies.

Regardless of the fact that when I was little I liked all the giant robots, I really liked Danguard a lot. I also enjoyed Guyslyugger a ton as an anime! Then, as for giant robots... there was Ginguiser (but looking back, I found it too childish and not up to par). Meanwhile, as repetitive as it may sound, I had a soft spot for Daltanious. Damn! I liked it so much! And Trider G7 kept me entertained for many hours in front of the TV screen! What do you think of Mechander Robot? I didn't appreciate it much as a kid, but I've re-evaluated it quite a bit now.

I know Mao Dante very well! I have the whole series even though I haven't watched it yet, and it's really for the mentally ill... It was even censored in Japan where practically anything goes! But as soon as I'm free, I'll watch it, along with Super Robot Wars (the series and the OAV).
In the OAVs of Super Robot Wars, all the giant robots appear at the same time!!!! It's awesome!

God Sigma was really cool! Three giant robots in one, two legs and the rest of the body the classic hero robot. By the way: there has always been this characteristic in giant robots, very marked when there were more than three protagonists (especially Voltron, Vultus V, Combatter, Daltanious, Getter Robot....). There was the hero (usually the main character), a bit rough (like Hiroshi) who never noticed the hot girl from the cartoon drooling over him because he was too busy saving the world. Then the "lone wolf," the one who seemed tough and mean but, in the end, was a good guy (Hayato in Getter Robot or, I don’t know, Gepi in Vultus V or, again, Joe the Condor in Gatchaman); then the genius, who is often the smallest (genius is inversely proportional to the height and age of the genius); then the girl who drools over the hero who ignores her but sacrifices herself and nearly gets killed for him during battles (Miwa or June); the chubby guy, the classic clumsy and bumbling type who serves just to make you laugh and is endearing (from Boss to Ivan in Vultus V and so on...); and finally, the Prof. Scientist, creator of the robot and the super-equipped base, with a mustache and/or beard, maybe even a pair of glasses, and most of the time, related to the female member of the team (like Sayaka in Mazinga Z, for example...).
I mentioned the Gatchaman... "Battle of the Planets": do you remember it? What do you think?

JURIX: it's clear that you are not cut out for this kind of stuff! The exact time is as follows:
fX(x)=1(2p)^n det(S)e^(-1/2)(x-µ)^T S^(-1)(x-µ)
And enough of making fun of the Drim Tiater, for god's sake! This is where history is made!!!! We're making history!!!!!!!!
