Oscar Peterson And Joe Pass Porgy And Bess

Fusillo (I don’t know if you know this and if you might be interested) but the music from the Peanuts is by Vince Guaraldi. I know these 2 CDs: "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" and "Charlie Brown Holiday Hits"...

Count, I listened and I liked the album; it has a nice atmosphere. Of course, if someone is looking for innovations, they won't find any here, except for the use of this ancestor of the piano (but I also appreciate mainstream when it still delivers emotions). For example, I found the version of "It Ain't Necessarily So" really beautiful, and the blues that oozes from this album is to my liking. "@Muffinman and Contemplazione: well, it’s clear that you don't like the Peanuts." Why not? I love the Peanuts!

Well, the album...superlative...your review: it radiates absolute love for this immense artist.

Count, I follow your advice, thank you. "I remember Charlie Parker" is not a collection of Pass, it's a tribute album to Parker.

Hi Count, do you really think it’s not worth buying?

Great reception, considering that Peterson is a giant and Pass is no less, I'm buying this record blind (I've been thinking about it for a while). I can't listen to it on my computer with crappy speakers and terrible audio quality...
Woody Allen Accordi e Disaccordi
