It's a crime to give only 4 stars to this immense masterpiece that collects unimaginable pianistic gems (along with volume 2).

One could delve deeper into this, as it is one of the best albums by the Messengers and one of the most beautiful in hard bop; mentioning the magnificent musicians involved in the session and saying something more about the masterpiece track "Blues March." In short, a good review but nothing more.
