Many of you forget about the first true album with psychedelic sounds (with harmonizations and much more complex sounds compared to this Beatles one, which is more commercial) and that is "Freak Out" by Zappa, released in '66 but a few months earlier. And that’s why he later made that parodic album on Sgt. Pepper.
