If Gone with the Wind is a masterpiece (just because it won a ton of Oscars, which means nothing), then you should have rated ALL of BERGMAN's films (even the lesser ones), ALL of KUBRICK's films (except the insignificant Spartacus, which is anyway on the same level as Gone with the Wind), ALL of CHAPLIN's films (except the one with Brando/Loren), ALL of ORSON WELLES's films (including the unfinished ones), ALL of Lynch's films (except Dune and Fire Walk With Me), almost ALL of POLANSKY's films, ALL of TARKOVSKI's films, many of GODARD's, TSUKAMOTO (at least Tetsuo and Bullet Ballet), something by HERZOG, and who knows how many others. But just with these, you would already be close to 100 films more important than Gone with the Wind.

It's good for you to listen and re-listen to Monk because you will definitely (and I hope for you) find a goldmine of sensitivity and musical richness. Bye, see you soon.

Ok, perfect, I misunderstood; I will look for it on DVD because you made me want to (re)watch it.

M.Poletti, it's true that it makes you laugh, but you really wrote that list yourself!
