Mario Monicelli Amici miei
Voto:
Poletti, why do you always feel so superior? You say beautiful, beautiful, beautiful and give a 4 to the review. Anyway, this is a great comedy but not a masterpiece, at least in my opinion. Just because nothing similar has been seen in Italy anymore because we've been falling lower and lower doesn't mean that this is a masterpiece.
Pietro Germi Signore E Signori
Voto:
M.Poletti of course now Germi is better than Lynch, how could it not be!!
Marco Ferreri La grande abbuffata
Voto:
Masterful, I wouldn't say this is an aged film, on the contrary... I find "Amici miei" more aged.
Tim Burton Edward Mani di Forbice

Come on, what's with this line of 4 or 5 for this nice movie but certainly not a masterpiece! Oh yes, and where do you place the gothic fairy tale à la Lynch?
Steve Vai Sound Theories Tour 2007 - Roma
Voto:
a selling technique, but music is another thing; nonetheless, he has also made some really good pieces.
Miles Davis Tutu
Voto:
I practically always like Miles; with the due proportions, not all records are great or masterpieces, this is an example of that—a good album, pleasant and with some nice atmospheres. From that period (which I know much less than the 40s/50s/60s), I find "Aura" to be decidedly superior.
Billy Wilder L'appartamento
Voto:
Great movie, excellent review.
Oscar Peterson The Way I Really Play
Voto:
I don't know this one by Peterson, I thought you were going to focus more on some classics of ours. I also know little about the great Oscar, but undoubtedly "Night Train" and "Porgy & Bess" are two genuine masterpieces. As always, compliments for the review!
David Lynch Mulholland Drive

M.Poletti if you don’t know the etymologies of words, be quiet. I didn’t respond because I didn’t feel like it, now I’ll tell you “negro” has stupidly become a derogatory term, its meaning has changed over time because saying black identifies a COLOR, while negro identifies a PERSON of color. And know that if there’s a non-racist, that’s me. Do you really think that someone like me, who listens to music where 90% of the musicians are fucking angry black people making super sound, and even if they’re not, they still play their music (jazz)?

amarok74 why do you expect that someone can't like Lynch's films? Maybe Spielberg is better? He’s the one who’s messing around, and you’ll be there drooling over every single (totally understandable) nonsense from the craftsman Spielberg, but go screw yourself!
