Dear ilPaolo, I understand that your reviews don’t aim to exalt the works you examine (given the ratings you give), but let’s just say that certain "twists" and musings seem a bit too pronounced and forced. Anyway, nothing personal; I’m just expressing MY opinion. As for suggestions, I don’t feel at all qualified to help you, primarily because I don’t know what your favorite movies/albums are.

The most beautiful film by Weir
Tim Burton Batman

2.5 I saw him again recently after years of not seeing him, and I was quite disappointed, a bit on the weak side, not the best of Burton. The review, on the other hand, was nice.

JakeChambers, it's not about whether someone writes well or poorly, but whether what they say is relevant or shareable with what they are reviewing (and by the way, he's kind of overdoing it with these movies that only Tarantino likes to be different).

You're lucky I’ve never seen this movie, but I will make an effort to slap 1 on the review and 1 on the film, which I think must be something absolutely NOT experimental, but one of those flashy "against" pieces by the good cele(bro)lenton. And if you’re really looking for something experimental/musical, watch 200 Motels and Thing Fish, and then let me know.

M.Poletti since this reviewer has written trash about 2001: A Space Odyssey... I thought it would be good to define this one who reviewed it as trash, which is certainly more so; anyway, it’s a 2.5 movie.

I have never seen the movie, I'll try to check it out, great review anyway.

It's been ages since I've seen him, but I remember him like a great film, just like the already mentioned "Repulsion" (masterpiece), "Cul De Sac," and the beautiful shorts.
Terrence Malick La Sottile Linea Rossa

I don't compare it (because it's too different) as you do with "Apocalypse" (another out-of-this-world masterpiece), but I put them on the same level. Great, Very Great Malick!
