nice review on a useless and gaudy film (from the countless ads I've seen lately) that I will never watch, the rating is obviously based on trust

(!) Look, I didn't say the album is terrible, I just said that one of the songs I know is objectively a piece worthy of a Zecchino d'Oro, but the other 2 or 3 you mentioned are excellent tracks. Anyway, even now it's not just 40 years ago considering what’s being heard in pop music around.

Sure, but I've never had the opportunity; I've certainly heard some and maybe there are others without even knowing they're on this album. Of course, "obladì" is not, in my opinion, a good calling card.

nooo, come on, if this is a masterpiece, I'm Orson Welles. The most fawning and winking film by Van Sant that has risked losing his credibility as a director, I expect this kind of film from Levinson or similar, certainly not from a filmmaker like him.

I've never listened to the album in its entirety, just a few tracks here and there. I like "Helter Skelter," but "Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da" is nothing short of unbearable. Furthermore, reviewer, I remind you that tracks "made as a collage of tape pieces..." were already done by Zappa in 1966, and this album seems to be a bit later, so nothing new.
