Count, you are right, I’ll remove the curtains from this reception with a clarification about Vitalogy: how can you compare the blues, a music of immense depth (that the Nirvana can only forget, born a few decades before the good Kurt) to anything else, which you probably have never listened to or at most have listened to without attention? I remind you that all the music of the 20th century derives from the blues, even more so jazz, so...

alessioIRIDE I listen to what I listen to and I would be very happy if 5000000000 (or not) also listened to it, and anyway you are a liar because don’t tell me that when Nirvana came out they weren’t called alternative and you listened to them precisely for that, it shows in your photo.

First, I was stunned—not that Risi was a genius, but I didn't know this crap was his. Second, Paolo, you let me down; you were supposed to write a review on a Bergman film and you come up with this crap. I'm sorry, but this is my rating.

You know that you’re being annoying with this alternative story, really, because here you are the ones WHO WANT to be alternative, listening to what was once called "breakthrough" music (I add "bullshit") and YOU felt like the alternatives, also because listening to jazz is NOT alternative at all, but means appreciating certain things. I’m relatively interested in whether Davis played with his back to the audience in dissent, whether the Art Ensemble of Chicago painted their faces with tribal designs at every concert (anything but Kiss) to demonstrate their African roots, or whether Parker (and many others) was always high when he performed... What you look at to elevate a basement band like Cobain was a stoned existentialist who took to the stage playing three distorted notes and breaking everything, so then he’s great, but the substance of their music is pretty empty and wears off quickly. If someone likes them, nobody has the right to tell them to stop listening, but if someone has something to say against it, they are free to do so, and maybe with relevant responses instead of bringing up stuff that has nothing to do with it like Alessio from IRRIDERE!

supersoul is just that. Anyway, if records are measured by how much they’ve sold, we’re in a bit of trouble; there are records that have sold like crazy and now we don’t even know who the artists are, and vice versa.

alessioIRIDE no one seems to have forbidden you from going to jazz or Zappa gigs and spouting nonsense, let alone NOBODY CAN STOP ME from going to see bands like Nirvana and sharing my opinion, especially since you would probably ramble in jazz reviews, while I have actually listened to Nirvana.

I hate my mother, I hate my father, I am my sister . . . and Jermaine is a negro! A negro! A negro! A negro! "I thought he looked good - what happened to you?" "Please read this pamphlet." "I'm so bad!" You take the monkey, I'll take the llama, we'll have a party: get me a Pepsi - MICHAEL is JANET, JANET is MICHAEL - I'm so confused now - who is Diana? He's oxygenated, his nose is deflated and he thinks he looks good to you, he thinks he looks good to you. Ike: oh, I'm sorry . . . FZ: This is supposed to be the part where I . . . name people who are not . . . related in any particular way to . . . MICHAEL JACKSON . . . so . . . oh, let's see now, who could it be . . . uh . . . what's your name . . . ? His name is Bob? Bob is not the illegitimate son of MICHAEL JACKSON, take it from me . . .
