how annoying to read such a long review about useless things, I can't believe you all read it fully!

interesting proposal and very well written, compliments
Louis Malle Zazie Nel Metrò

an atypical film by Malle that draws on surrealism, seasoned with some good visual ideas. A must-see.

Even if we occasionally add the NOW AND THEN, what you're saying is NOT ABSOLUTELY Zappa's thought. He definitely always made fun of journalists and critics, but he would NEVER make fun of a fan. And where did you hear me say that? "But you’re also one of those who first says MA-STER-PIECE and then listens to a Frank album," considering I just stated that this album is not a masterpiece? Then I think it's a bit difficult for me to say before hearing it that a Zappa album is a masterpiece, given that I have the complete discography :-D

Conte, how can you be disappointed with "Uncle Meat," which is so close to jazz rock, clearly in a more surreal key (it's Uncle Frank!) than "Bitches Brew," and we're in the same year! "King Kong," which is all on the 2 CD, is exceptional, but not just that. For MAH! this isn’t about giving Mozart of the 20th century a masterpiece on every record; I don’t know what you listen to, but if you give a 2 to this record (which I repeat is not one of the peaks but there are still 2 masterpieces on the album), I would be curious to know what your masterpieces are. "sfornasse vere e proprie cagate solo per il gusto di prendere per il naso i critici e i fans," from this phrase I then deduce that you know zip about Aphex Twin!

Welcome 4urelio, yes, the album is not one of Uncle Frank's peaks, but as you rightly point out, there are those 2 tracks that make the album worth it (especially since it's quite short). The rating for the review is for the choice of the album and for having started listening to the mustache.

Interesting proposal, musician I don't know. I liked the review.
AA.VV. 58° Festival Di Sanremo

"This year Sanremo was a disaster," because when hasn’t it been? I should mention I watched maybe 5 minutes of the show and only found out about the winner from your recap, and I don’t even know who they are. If Gianna Nannini is involved, I’d say we could wrap these three characters up in a nice bundle and toss them into the sea, please. Anyway, you must be a sadomasochist to watch Sanremo for 6 consecutive days and even the aftermath!!!! I only heard it had low ratings, thank goodness; for once, we can say long live Italy!

Well, saying it’s THE best is quite a bold claim, but it’s definitely ONE of the fundamental albums in jazz. Nevertheless, it’s a great album with beautiful atmospheres, fabulous solos, and thrilling compositions. If someone says it doesn't excite them, oh well...
