Stanley Kubrick [e Anthony Mann] Spartacus
Voto:
Ah, what about the essential filmography of Kubrick? All of HIS films.
Stanley Kubrick [e Anthony Mann] Spartacus

For me, this is the greatest blockbuster ever made, but it remains Kubrick's biggest piece of crap he ever produced.
Charles Mingus The Great Concert Of Charles Mingus

lux, let me explain to you why "Bitches" is beautiful (Beautiful?? what does that even mean?): innovative sounds; incredible compositions, ghostly solos, feel how the instruments enter and exit, it's magic; not to mention the fantastic groove. And as ajejebrazorf rightly pointed out, check out the wonderful "Collateral" by Mann, the bar scene...

I don’t have time (I’ll be back) I just say Grandissimo Mingus, Grandissima jazz music (the most beautiful music in the world) and beautiful review!
Ingmar Bergman Un Mondo Di Marionette

I miss this too!!!
Albert Ayler Trio Spiritual Unity
Voto:
if you have the "courage" to review this masterpiece, in my opinion, you must also give it 5 stars because this is a 5-star album and because there are only these! Ayler and his companions create visceral, impetuous, and instinctive music, M-A-S-T-E-R-P-I-E-C-E
Herbie Hancock Future Shock

Wow! Did you see Jamal! I don't know much about him, but what I do know gives me chills of pleasure. Sure, he might not have given his best at a concert, but it must still be a delight. I saw him in a recent concert DVD, and he still seemed amazing to me.
Steve Vai Sex & Religion

You are not forgiven for your use of language and for having made such a despicable record.
Herbie Hancock Future Shock

In my opinion, they can rank among the best of Hancock (not on par with the masterpieces, of course). "The New Standard" from '96, "Gershwin's World" ('98), and "Mr. Hands" ('82) are, for me, very beautiful and well-executed albums.
Woody Allen The Purple Rose Of Cairo

Yes, light and fun, really beautiful... dear Chicken, I didn't know about "Sherlock Jr."!!! I've never seen it, I absolutely need to catch up on Buster Keaton's filmography!!!!
