To all those who gave 5 stars to this garbage, a question: when will you start listening to music?

legendary eighties LEGENDARY EIGHTIES!!!!! "The only way to appreciate the eighties is not to consider them at all. To feel something positive about the eighties, one would have to exit the human condition, because in the eighties (and even today, note d.r.), there has been very little true human condition, and that little has not been safeguarded."

Maybe I’ll have to revisit it; from what I remember, it didn’t seem like a masterpiece to me. I prefer something else by Hitc.

Cox, you're hitting the mark with this one; it's a truly amazing track, one of the finest by Ornette.

this poorly made clone of Frank Zappa should go zap! comparing Hendrix's sound to this nothingness is a downright blasphemy

Of course, Denardo won't always be "on point"; he makes some mistakes and sometimes doesn't "hit" the "right" sound. However, I think he is spot on for this quartet. With Billy Higgins or others, it would be a different story, indeed a different story...

Oh yes! dear Jake, this is a splendid review for a splendid album, truly a great quartet that I had the pleasure of enjoying and admiring live, even though they played for just over 1 hour (poor Ornette is no longer a young lad), nevertheless sumptuous.

my absolute favorite from the Coens... Great review even though it’s for those who have already seen the film.

I have to look him up; from your review, he seems like a director worth discovering... I hope he’s not following in the footsteps of films like "Mr. Vendetta" or "Bad Boy" and the like...
