Of course it's a hoax, the only CDs you might find "worn out" are the blank ones that sometimes use poor quality glue and over time the CD oxidizes (even though I have CDs that were burned over 10 years ago and they still work fine). Only someone like mocampo believes it, I can just imagine that a CD that works perfectly until today suddenly stops working this year, sure, why not!

I already added the album to my shopping list... As always, compliments on the review! I can give you a piece of advice: don’t gift CDs that you’re not familiar with, unless you already know that it’s by a well-known artist and/or it’s an album requested by the person celebrating ;-)
