Lucio Battisti Il Gabbianone
Voto:
I listened to "Il gabbianone" for the first time about a month ago, after downloading it from the internet. It's a beautiful song, in a unique style that is quite different from that of the "Don Giovanni" album. Perhaps, with some effort, it could have replaced "Che vita ha fatto" within this album, which I find to be the least convincing of the 40 with Panella.
Battisti / Panella Il Cofanetto
Voto:
It's not true that the CDs are unavailable. I bought them all between 2002 and 2006. In this order: Csar, Sposa, Hegel, Don Giovanni, apparenza. The last one I mention is the most beautiful for me. In particular, a song like A portata di mano is unattainable for anyone else. The box set? Useless, I hope at least it helped to spread the panelbattistian word a bit more. Bye.
Lucio Battisti E Già
Voto:
I fully discovered Battisti Panella's albums only between 2005 and 2006. And in July 2006, I bought E Già, thinking I would find something similar. I was deeply disappointed at first listens. In the end, even though E Già is definitely the worst album by Battisti, I admit there are some pleasant tracks like windsurf, e già, or la tua felicità that save the album. Perhaps it’s a sort of musically accompanied press conference, no more, no less.
