I mean, Beat, with so many local prog discs, you went and chose one that's already been reviewed? Then explain to me why :D Anyway, I prefer the other review ;)
Grace Slick & The Great Society Collector's Item

What a MASTERPIECE of a review, for heaven's sake. Just the two phrases "when I think of this period, I associate it with the beginning of summer, a refreshing June that already makes us anticipate the heat and the excitement of the coming August..." and "Grace Slick... the greatest, most wonderful singer that rock has ever given us" are enough to move me. An album that is more than mandatory for the reasons you've mentioned, especially because it's an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the best things that came after under the name Jefferson and, if I may, regarding Slick, I would also refer to the review of "Manhole" done by fenni for those who wish to delve deeper into this angel of charm and skill. I rate it with my heart.

When talking about folk prog, I will never tire of mentioning the immense Spyrogira. This one from T&S is a good album, and Eliodoro, with his excellent proposals, reminds me of someone ;-)

In this Monument there is, among the thousand precious joys, a Sir Wyatt on the drums who completely overwhelms me.
