Even freer than the Gong, and with much more freedom of execution, sometimes Zappa-esque. I recommend Leg End, which is a masterpiece, but Unrest is not bad either. The Egg are strong, The Polite Force is stunning but I also like the first self-titled album. Space Shanty is little known, but those who know it certainly don't underestimate it! Then in Italy, we also had something Canterbury-related, like Perigeo or Picchio dal Pozzo.

Yes, this is truly unattainable. On the next album, Waterloo Lily, they seek a more complex sound and, to be honest, it's less engaging. Later, they shift to a top-notch pop-jazz style, with softer sounds that are decidedly more enchanting. I would recommend For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night, but especially the fantastic Live at Fairfield Halls from '74, where they only perform tracks after In the Land of G & P, bringing out all of Sinclair's romanticism. They are different Caravan, but I consider this live essential. Thanks again!
