Lord, I think you're exaggerating. Perhaps you were superficial in your listening of that record.

Waters' voice moves me as well; have you ever listened to tracks like Julia Dream or Set the controls? And Gilmour in Echoes? But you don't like Barrett at all?

Uhm... perhaps this is one of the Wilson products I like the least. To be honest, I wasn't very enthusiastic about the first Blackfield either. This confirms that even geniuses have their off moments, at least in my opinion.

So Mauro, considering that I like everything by Pink Floyd, there's no doubt that their early albums are more successful because, over time, they manage to engage more than the later ones (from Dark Side onwards), as well as being more innovative and visionary. The difference is precisely this: albums like The Piper, A Saucerful of Secrets, Ummagumma, and More manage to offer different sensations with each listen; it's music constructed in layers that always provides new insights. Dark Side, on the other hand, is a masterpiece of aesthetics, but it communicates the same thing even on the millionth listen, precisely because that is its purpose: to remain eternal and true to itself, the message is unique, even if conveyed in a fantastic way. In contrast, in the early works, one can find new nuances with each listen; it's music to immerse oneself in, which cannot be definitively deciphered but only moment by moment. The Wall, even more than Dark Side, offers a single key of interpretation that undoubtedly limits its communicability. However, lysergic tracks like Interstellar Overdrive, Careful with that Axe, Eugene, or A Saucerful of Secrets go beyond these limits, in their little imperfections, in their dreamlike quality, in their delirious chaos, and they manage to stimulate differently every time, transcending human perception. I think that with attentive and constant listening, free from prejudice, you'll realize this.

Punisher and KC are not for you because it’s not music for superficial people. I’m sorry to tell you this, but that’s how it is.

Listen, I definitely think better than this Mauro who has tangled himself up and contradicted himself far too obviously in the last posts. Would you like to deny it or do you just want to keep flipping the pancake? Okay, I admit it, I voted for that damn group without listening to it because evidently the genre completely makes me sick. Do you have any other questions, possibly relevant?
