Well... the real scandal is thinking that the Italian song festival could convey something artistically and/or culturally valid, rather than drawing from elsewhere. After all, the latest Marco Carta, in the mechanism of the production-consumption logic, is a success, not a scandal. Those who do not realize this are the lifeblood of the very logic they contest.
