Very touching message. I also met Jeff before Tim, and I always thought one thing: Jeff had an angelic voice; I imagine how the angels sing, and I think they have the timbre and style of Jeff; then I wonder what God's voice must be like: I think God could have the voice of Tim. Actually, no: I think Tim could have the voice of God. Anyway, we understand each other. And this is only about the voice: as a composer, musician, shall we say who Tim Buckley was? Simply the Bach of Rock music.

Great reception. But let's not forget that, although it is not fully proven that greenhouse gases are the cause of those calamities (highly unlikely for the majority), and of the temperature rise (here something might concretely fit), it is instead 100% proven that exhaust and harmful gases destroy the ozone layer, and in fact are the cause of the ozone hole (to name one), or they are harmful to people and to the environment (very true). Surely Al Gore exaggerates (especially because he does not document well and particularly in an impartial way: this last aspect is what makes this film less credible), but neither does anyone who says "greenhouse gases are responsible for nothing" have it right...

"Moreover, I said revolution and not innovation," I replied. Were you talking about REVOLUTION? There was that cultural-musical one called GRUNGE, from '90 to '94, the most felt since the Punk era. A purely musical revolution? There are also SLINT who indeed made an ENORMOUS musical revolution. What more do you want?

"Regarding the statement Innovation = Quality, it is important to make some clarifications and notes as large as a thing" like a HOUSE. And ZannaB has indeed captured the essence of the discourse: "The point is: if a good record is simultaneously innovative, this does not necessarily imply the opposite, that is, not all innovative records are good."

Indeed. On the topic of Innovation = Quality, it’s necessary to make clarifications and notes as big as a house; in short, it’s essential to evaluate on a case-by-case basis and make very precise observations. Because if "Innovation = Newness (which usually tends to influence a certain number of subsequent artists (or so-called),” then even Michael Jackson, Madonna, or Boyzone were “innovative.” We need to specify, and above all assess on a case-by-case basis, artist by artist, both in their "own" field and in absolute terms. Otherwise, even the gypsy playing at the street corner could be considered an “innovator”...
@Sklemby: I would add groups like Pixies and Mars Volta (for the 2000s) to those mentioned by Easycure. And then there's a certain little band called NIRVANA, a band that did absolutely nothing, aside from making the biggest and most widespread cultural-musical revolution since Punk. And besides that, the tiny detail that they were the most influential band on Rock music and beyond in the last 15 years. But aside from these trivialities, they haven't done anything else...
