Firewind Days Of Defiance

By the way, I saw the video for World on Fire: I'd say it easily competes with Wildest Dream by IM in the category of "cheesiest special effects of the new millennium"... wow, teriBBile!!
P.S.: Anatas, long time no see!

Nice band (for me much better than Dream Evil, just to mention Gus G), but in the long run it gets tiring: excellent musicians, of course, but after 2-3 albums everything becomes predictable, already heard, forgettable... I haven't even listened to this one (I stopped at the previous one).
Argent All Together Now
Voto:
Excellent review. The only two songs by Argent I know are the ones mentioned at the end of the review (discovered thanks to the covers, that cheeky one by Kiss and "Hold..." covered by Mr. Big), but honestly, I’ve never gone beyond those two...
Queen + Paul Rodgers The Cosmos Rocks

I mean, come on, it's just ridiculously absurd to call themselves "Queen + Paul Rodgers", seriously... how hard would it have been to change the whole name?
Black Stone Cherry Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea

Okay, I'll listen to those then, thanks!

I always confuse them with Buckcherry... I really need to make up my mind to listen to something, they talk about them pretty well everywhere. In the meantime, great review :)
Cradle of Filth Dusk and Her Embrace

<...they look like a group of posers, especially considering that Dani Filth even cut his hair!...> and WHO CARES!!! <At least he still sings in screamo.> ah, thank goodness...
A Storm Of Light As The Valley Of Death Becomes Us Our Silver Memories Fade

What a spectacular title! I'm listening to a couple of tracks on YouTube and I must say they are quite good, even though the connection with Neurosis (a band I just can't seem to like) intimidated me a bit. I'll listen more closely, maybe during a time that's more conducive to the atmosphere of the work. Great review.
Omen Escape To Nowhere

Well, going from armies of undead and cobras to a barely dressed lady really says a lot about the content I might find in this work... I’ve never listened to it, I only know the first two excellent albums, and I’m keeping my distance from this one. Power of the record label or vain search for success with a broader audience? (what a beautiful phrase...) Excellent review as usual :)
