Marillion This Strange Engine
Voto:
I've never considered Marillion much... yet the works with Fish and some with Hogarth (the frequently mentioned Brave) are regarded as gems; perhaps I should finally decide to listen to something. In the meantime, great review :)
Dissection Reinkaos
Voto:
Well, black metal is certainly not my thing, except for very rare cases and anyway not belonging to the "true-raw-black-fuckin'-metal" genre. Dissection is one of those rare cases, for the first 2 splendid albums; I listened to this latest one and I must say that here and there (Starless Aeon, Black Dragon, and a bit more) I didn’t mind it either... but nothing compared to their early work, in fact, I then abandoned it and never listened to it again. As for the character Nodtveid, I’ll just say it’s best to keep quiet…
Stefano Sollima, Giancarlo De Cataldo Romanzo criminale- La serie

Yes, Demian, I understood it... it just doesn't seem to me a great example of "people who made it," todo aquì.

"...the inner movement that has been able to provoke" in the sense that it makes one go to the bathroom?
I don't know if this phrase is less happy than the closing one... bah
Fratello Metallo Misteri

you forgot to say that "looking at this site I realized the absence of this MASTERPIECE of metal"...
Ozzy Osbourne Scream
Voto:
"the latest masterpiece by Ozzy Osbourne" damn! if this is a masterpiece, then what are the first 3? Then "a Greek named Gus G.": he's not exactly a nobody... but I see that these things have already been pointed out to you, so... anyway, this album doesn't impress me much; I don't understand all the enthusiasm spread across the web, where it's praised and lauded as a grand return of the Madman (but where?!?): rather, 10 times better Down to Earth than this Scream (though the original title "Soul Sucka" was pretty awesome!)
Jag Panzer The Scourge Of The Light

being haunted by bad luck until the end... just a few days ago, the news of the dissolution came out, what a shame... I’ve never listened to this, but I’m trying to catch up.
Michael Jackson Dangerous
Voto:
One of my idols when I was little: in fact, Thriller-Bad-Dangerous is the trilogy that I still enjoy listening to from time to time (even though for me, Bad remains the best). I agree with Darius that with History he essentially rehashed the same formula as this, while the last one (I don’t even consider that posthumous crap whose title I can't remember) I’ve never listened to, but the singles didn’t excite me, actually... a 3.5 rounded up, come on. (Anyway, the dog on the left of the artwork has always terrified me...)
Massimo Mattioli Squeak The Mouse
Voto:
I only know Pinky by Mattioli; what memories! It came out in the magazine when I was a small and innocent little being, and I remember the hearty laughs I always had and the disappointment when, some weeks, it wasn’t published among the comics. Then it stopped amusing me, probably because his creative spark had somewhat faded (or maybe I just grew up a little...). After this very interesting digression, I would return to the subject of the review and say that I had no idea that the author of the stories about that sweet little pink bunny could conceive something like this (by the way, I’d say Groening should cough up some cash for the idea, right?).
The Rolling Stones A Bigger Bang

uhm... looking at your ranking, I smell fake :) but congratulations on the review, finally an innovative metric and daring rhymes that break away from the usual "sun-heart-love" scheme.
