Come on, even though it's yet another one about the album and the Maiden, it's really quite good, especially because it gives a very balanced assessment of the album, which I completely agree with ;) Well done, see you!

I quote Bartle's joke about extra virgin olive oil from FERRO as one of the best of the year XD I won't rate the review because there are already too many, the album is good but "Quest for Fire" is really awful..

Nice review, I've listened to some of the DGM on their MySpace and I must say I don't mind them at all.. I'll look into it further :D

nice review, as usual.
I don’t know them at all (thank goodness), but the growl vocals over a '70s/'80s dance beat have been missing for me.. O_O
anyway, some titles rival those of Cannibal Corpse XD

but is she the one whose song was used for a water advertisement?
I think it was called Scarborough Fair...

I don't know the group... but if Sherinian, Renske, and Jorn are present (O_O), I definitely need to look into them more. The review is excellent as usual; even though I'm not familiar with many of the bands you review, it's always a pleasure to read them. Moreover, you've made me discover some really interesting things, for which I thank you ;)

Nice CD, to be listened to several times to truly appreciate it; sure, Blaze's voice isn't great (but in some cases it fits really well with the heavy and dark atmospheres of certain tracks), the production generally sucks (as it always does when Steve Harris has a hand in it..), but there are also some gems here ("Sign of the Cross," "Man on the Edge," "Judgement of Heaven," "The Edge of Darkness" above all). Definitely better than "No Prayer..." or the subsequent "Virtual XI."

Well, the cover reflects what was already done with the previous "The Battle": a sort of meeting-clash between the two singer-protagonists, I suppose; anyway, between the two, this is perhaps the best one, so... :D
