@Lola: in fact, just for the fact that she wrote TRASH, I would have given her a 1, but then I thought it was her first review and it’s not nice to be welcomed with the minimum score (I personally would have been upset, good thing that not many cared about my first review xD)

"First of all, this is the first review I'm writing on this site..." and you couldn't have chosen better to start!! Forget Systematic Chaos, here we have the new record coming soon! ...and by the way, it's tHrash, tHrash, not TRASH!!!!!! (it also depends on what you want to mean, actually...)

Well, I should have figured that "AMOLAD" would be better for someone than the early Iron albums... in fact, it makes perfect sense ;)

Death Magnetic - Systematic Chaos 8 - 15 I foresee the overtaking in the near future :D

"...to buy "Tyr" blindly after the stinging disappointment of "Paranoid"... O_O O_O It's okay to go "against the tide," but this is pushing it, right? And then for some reason you have to trash G'n'R with a "any old disc": what do they have to do with this review?? Anyway, I know and like only a handful of R.E.M. songs, the most famous ones...

"Metallica are back after 5 years." - A review of Death Magnetic returned to the homepage after a couple of days; it was missed... anyway, it’s well done, except for the inaccuracy on "Cyanide," not "cynadine."
I finally listened to the whole CD, so I can judge better :) So: I disagree with "Broken, Beat & Scarred," which I think is the worst track; on the other hand, the chorus of "All Nightmare Long" is catchy and just right; the instrumental is indeed a bit of a letdown; the first two aren’t bad, maybe a bit too long and meandering; "The Day that Never Comes" is a reinterpretation of the classic Metallica 'ballads,' just like the explosive thrash ending of "My Apocalypse"; finally, I agree that "The Judas Kiss" is the best on the CD.
Overall a good album, as you rightly said, not to be compared with the old masterpieces, even though it tries to get close... My rating would be a 7.5 - 8 out of 10, let’s round up and give it a 4, come on :)

Ah, right... why is "...and Justice for All" a mediocre album?!? (aside from the bass that's not audible and the toy-like drums, okay...)

Why must the blues of "Load" be "the abyss from which Metallica have yet to emerge"?!?
@Hell: I would suggest this instead: how about we bet that "Death Magnetic" will surpass a sacred monster like "Systematic Chaos" by Dream Theater in terms of the number of reviews? (if I'm not mistaken, we're at 15 and it should be the most reviewed here on DeB... scary!! O_O)

But now my curiosity is growing more and more to listen to this blessed "The Unforgiven III": some call it a masterpiece, others a complete disaster... if I were to trust my instincts, ever since they revealed the tracklist, I would lean towards the latter :)
Let's wait for this September 12... unless the four decide to release the remaining four songs on their official site as well :D
Too vulgar a review, I'm sorry; I agree with the criticism, but without exaggerating...
