I only know the first two Firehouse albums, and I find them really nice and pleasant to listen to. I haven't heard this one, but if they didn't turn to alternative-grunge in an era like the mid-'90s, I’ll give it a listen... oh, the first Harem Scarem album is great. :)

I really appreciate these reviews (maybe because they remind me of mine :D) because you talk about the album but also give an overview of the band’s other work; then, if like in this case, the group is one of those that interests me but I never know where to start... :)

Come on, not a bad album :) nice review too, I agree with the final paragraph (although I didn't mind the Velvet at least for the first album, and I think the Snakepit were a good band...)

I haven't found or listened to it yet, except for the singles that were circulating online, which weren't bad at all; of course, the collaborations with Fergie, the guy from 5 marroni, and that one with the Pussycat Dolls... well.

Their perhaps most intimate album, and maybe also the most difficult, but in my opinion one of their best: "Taunting Cobras," "Chance," "Castles Burning," and then... "Alone You Breathe"...
