Uhu dear, I think you’ll have to wait for next summer’s edition. :) Anyway, this album keeps fascinating me more and more, what a class act!!

Same here, I have a hard time judging one of their albums negatively! I find "Handful" magnificent; I would really like to write a review about it, but who knows, maybe later... In any case, I really enjoyed this more "calm" (as you say) and "laid-back" turn, it sounds a bit like a moment of transition. Anyway, I don’t see it as inferior, just different... We'll see what Roman and the gang come up with next, I’m really curious. :)) (we won't have to wait long, since they churn out an album every year!! XD)

Hey Ale, to be honest I don’t know much about jazz either (actually almost nothing, except for a little bit of Coltrane and Davis), but when I read the words “nocturnal, smoky, melancholic, sad, and BLACK,” I couldn’t help but think of Bohren & Der Club Of Gore. So, despite my blissful ignorance, I recommend you get "Black Earth." If that’s not “nocturnal, smoky blablabla,” then I don’t know what is... :)))

To me, it seemed just like a harmless and weak album, a 2.5. Plastic-y, for sure. But starting from "Kolossus," I had already begun to not like them anymore... What a pity.
