Seven albums, did I read that correctly? And if I wanted to start, which one should I choose..? Or would it be quicker to look for some appetizers on YouTube?

"According to a 2004 interview with Wrest there are four unreleased full-length albums by Lurker of Chalice." Wow..! Anyway, I wasn't aware of this detail, also because I never gave the last Leviathan a listen, but if you're telling me it was originally part of the Lurker project, things are starting to get quite interesting.

"Lurker Of Chalice" is splendid, and the only thing I blame Wrest for is stopping at that album (only concerning the Lurker project, without bringing up Leviathan et similia)! But in the end, I didn't understand, has the "band" been abandoned for good or will they come back to churn out something? Because it's been five years now and still a tomb-like silence. Who knows?!

Just them! And if you consider Fas to be a hell of an album, then listening to Paracletus is definitely a must! If you want to get it, feel free to contact me. Ciau :)

Hi Seagull, if by "avantgarde" you mean something like a mix of "post-industrial progressive electrojazz polkagrind" associated with black, rest assured that there's nothing like that in DsO... If you meant something else, then I wouldn't know :))

I, on the other hand, had only listened to "Karma." I'm not exactly a power metal fanatic (when I’m in the mood, I stick to the usual two or three names: Blind Guardian, Angra, Helloween...) but strangely I found it quite remarkable. This "Poetry," by all appearances, doesn't seem to have been received with much enthusiasm (to put it mildly)... As for the review, we're at your usual standards :)

Hey Vincent, long time no see! How’s everything?! It’s been a while since I last caught you on DeB! ..Look, regarding "Paracletus"... I really don’t know. I believe that, in any case, even if I tried to write something about it, I’d just make a big fat mess. I’ve been listening to it non-stop these last few days and… I don’t know.. The only thing I can say is: inconceivable. Sometimes I’m afraid to hit play. For now, I wouldn’t dare make further comments. Why don’t you do the review, it would undoubtedly be in great hands! ;) @Bartolo thanks, always so kind :)) @Safet, have you heard "Fas"? @Ale, Monumentum lasts an hour and twenty, but for me, albums like that could go on even longer! If you go for "Paracletus" you won't risk too much annoyance, it lasts 42 minutes, practically half.
