Radiohead The King Of Limbs

I settled on a modest 3.5... I like it, although sometimes it bores me to death (read: "Separator") and I notice more or less the same flaws well described in the review ("the arrangements spiral in on themselvesā€), but in general, I don’t mind it, even though I appreciate it more for its form than its content... Then again, let’s keep in mind that I’m a regular listener of Burzum et similia, so my opinion doesn’t really carry much weight :D

I don't know, maybe I haven't listened to it enough, but this album just seemed OK to me, neither great nor terrible...

I quote Workhorse. Nice company of loudmouths. And great review.

4.5 is extraordinary, but my absolute favorite from Enslaved remains "Vertebrae," definitely their most mature album and, at the same time, unconventional. In fact, "Monumension" is also quite quirky, but slightly inferior and with some rough edges; after all, it is their first transitional album, which was already anticipated by "Mardraum," still very much tied to their black metal roots and... Uh... Damn, how can you talk about any Enslaved album without bringing up the rest of their discography?!? :D
Tiamat A Deeper Kind Of Slumber
Voto:
What a fucking album. A quarter of a step below "Wildhoney," even if it's denser and more varied... Anyway, it's the last true masterpiece by Tiamat; after this, they turned to the craft of coasters...

But is it just me or does this record suck vast and unspoiled swamps of smoking elephant dung?
Burzum Det Som Engang Var
Voto:
I took a little trip through the various reviews of Burzacchione here on DeB, and... Well, I realized that, except for a couple (the most serious and recent ones by "Belus" and "Fallen"), they are all just big fat piles of nonsense or, simply put, useless little shits (from what pulpit..!). A bunch of duplicates, moreover stuffed with hundreds of comments and absurd lengthy disputes that have nothing to do with the music... I really wish the reviewer (in my opinion) the most competent, punctual, and flawless ever: mementomori, had written about it. I wonder if I’ll read a review of "Filosofem" from him. Anyway... To me, "Det Som Engang Var" and "Burzum" don’t really say much; they leave me quite cold. With the next two, especially the immense "Filosofem," I’m already starting to have a totally different opinion. The same goes for the last two works post-prison. I don't even consider the two little ambient pieces...
