Pfff, "A Sense Of Purpose" already gave me orchitis, I don’t think I’ll even listen to this one... Just a quick ear on the tube for a couple of laughs and that's it. Rather, I highly recommend the latest Amorphis: nothing new under the sun and it's actually one of their less memorable albums, but it's still an example of how to write a crystal-clear record even in moments of weakness. Way better than In Flames.

Let's say I agree with you, although I partially salvage "A Line Of Deathless Kings," a mix of still classy pieces and terribly mediocre tracks... The funny thing is that, according to what MDB themselves claim, it took them fifteen years to create this "Evinta" (but what the hell does the title mean, by the way?)... We're in a good place...

Hi Declino, if I really wanted to be a picky little teacher about the ratings, I would give "White Tomb" roughly a 4.5 and this one a solid 4 (personally, 5 seems a bit exaggerated to me, but these are opinions after all). Setting aside the details, if you like "White Tomb," then this will also do its job: Altar Of Plagues in every sense, maybe a bit less accessible compared to the debut (that "When The Sun Drowns In The Ocean," what is that?!), perhaps a bit more eccentric, but you’ll still be on safe ground... Enjoy the listening.
