Sorry, what’s the point of arguing with a fake?

Emocore? Argh, I admit I’m a bit biased against this genre, but I’ll make an exception and see if I can give them a listen..

Ehm Judas, it’s not to pry, but when I see phrases like "metalheads [...] are smarter or at least know how to navigate the world," it makes my blood boil. As far as I know, a person who doesn't listen to metal can absolutely be intelligent or know how to get by in life, and above all, I still don’t understand the reasoning behind all these meticulous and discriminatory classifications like: "metalhead," "emo," "trendy," etc. They’re nonsensical. I listen to a lot of metal, but I don’t define myself as a "metalhead," nor do I want to be recognized as one, simply because it’s an insignificant label, and if I had to really classify myself based on the music I listen to, I’d need 50 sub-genres. Yet, I know how to navigate the world, go figure. But also this phrase: "Everyone has their own personality, and I think that metalheads are the strongest and bravest towards society and their peers, not like the slackers who follow 'the music of the moment'" seems quite contradictory: you say everyone has a unique personality and then generalize about the "metalhead" class and the "music of the moment" class? I don’t get it. My best friend listens to Ligabue, and she doesn’t strike me as a slacker at all, and she's ten times smarter than me (not that it takes much, mind you). And I’ve met quite a few "metalheads" (I hate using that word) who are truly clueless—funny enough, they are the ones who use music as a crutch for their immature mindset. Anyway, big shoutout to Fallen, who has shown more than once that he knows how things work in this somewhat controversial area. Just so you know, I'm not criticizing you because I don’t know you. It’s just that when I see certain "clichés," it makes me want to throw my hands up in frustration. Bye.
