I have read the word "orecchiabile" five (?) times and I see some very good ratings. Huh. For this group, I will start with "Leitmotif."

I do not deny that a monolithic genre like doom can easily become stale over time, especially when talking about bands that have now been around for twenty years. But I refuse to believe that SODWOL can be merely a simple photocopy; rather, it is the latest peak of MDB's discography. Instead, we can indeed talk about artistic sterility with the subsequent "A Line of Deathless Kings", which is nice but already a bit arid. The situation becomes much more serious with the latest "For Lies I Sire". If you were to tear apart one of those albums, I could understand it perfectly. Then again, the fact that everyone has their own ideas/opinions is beyond discussion, but I would like to clarify that my "1" was not just because of differing opinions: many times I have read certain reviews whose judgments I did not like, yet I still left a good rating because they were well-written, which cannot be said of yours, as it merely trashes an immense album like SODWOL in just a few lines with somewhat superficial opinions like "I don't like this song, I do like this one, boring riffs, cliché lyrics." Not to mention a couple of completely out-of-place statements. No offense, eh! Ciau P.S. I agree with Gasta, the Sposa Morente diving into industrial experimentation wouldn’t be the Sposa Morente anymore...

"Listening to this record, we find ourselves faced with a disheartening attempt at 'recovering' sounds that have already been proposed and widely experimented with during the 1990s." Give me some examples of albums that can boast the same pure, clear anguish as SODWOL; I'm probably missing some and I'm curious to explore new albums from the '90s on par with this one. I would love to hear another "A Doomed Lover," yes, yes. | "Tracks like 'Catherine Blake' and 'The Wrekage Of My Flesh' add nothing new and, indeed, make us seriously doubt the band's health." BUT ALSO no. And then what on earth does the band's health have to do with it? ..Today I was writing a poem and suddenly lost my inspiration. I'm going to insert a suppository, just in case it comes back. Anyway, really, I didn’t understand this review.
