I've never delved into the genre (thanks to the scarce availability of various works), and I barely hear the artists being mentioned, but reviews like this should appear on the homepage every day.

This summer, no beach even for me, and thank goodness. But for this album, I'll make an exception.

<<forbidden siren has an incredibly convoluted control system, difficult and unnecessarily complex, which leads one to focus more on what to do with their fingers rather than following the unfolding of the story, thus eliminating the suspense factor>> But did we play the same game? For most of the time, all I had to do was choose the most suitable place to hide (though I never felt safe), use the Sightjack, and at the right moment sneak behind the shibito without making any noise. It doesn't seem to me that FS is one of those games that incites you to feverishly press impossible combinations of buttons; on the contrary, I find the gameplay quite elementary: run, crouch, call your partner, open the door, go up the stairs, stop, hide, run away – and, in rare cases, fight. || <<it's a game that hasn't been reviewed very well by any industry magazine>> I don't know, I've seen a lot of criticism towards the game, I myself acknowledge its limitations (including the high frustration of the first chapter), but the reviews I've read here and there have spoken quite positively about it, with scores hovering around 8 (especially for the second chapter). As for the rest, I agree with lux and add that the levels in the hospital (psychiatric?) and the elementary school almost shocked me. ["Harumi... Don't wander around alone anymore..."]

Lara Croft has been part of my gaming experiences for 11 years now; I am in love with her for that. I could say the exact same thing about Metal Gear.

Res 4, although too focused on splatter, still managed to instill a strong sense of unease while I played it. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to play Silent Hill, but I am an avid supporter of Forbidden Siren (both chapters): I had never experienced such a grim and suffocating video game before. Often short and not particularly challenging levels, a storyline that becomes more disorienting as it develops, but that persistent fog and that leaden blood-red sky still send shivers down my spine at the thought.

I reaffirm my yes, and I add that this is the perfect opportunity to showcase an unreachable masterpiece like Metal Gear on casapagina. It would be worth it just for that. P.S. Res 4 is a great game, but a bit too splatter. It's 5 that sucks..
