@bjorky... how are you? Turbulent, as usual, better turbulent than stagnant. No, I would never have spent 100 Euros. When I first saw them, concert tickets cost 15,000 lire. (More or less) and during that time there were so many artists to listen to live. Zappa, twice, both John Mayall and Ginger Baker, Jackson Browne, Byrds in their reunion, and on that occasion I liked Lee Clayton, who opened for them, even more. I bought one of his albums and was disappointed. I also saw Italian artists, like Bennato, and I can assure you he made a great impression, your beloved Led Zeppelin in Zurich... the day before in Milan there was Marley, the stadium was full, and many other artists played before him, Woodstock in Florence, with numerous musicians, among others Joe Cocker, the great Lou Reed, and Florence (I think) the Clash in Pistoia... just to name the first ones that come to mind. (I think I mentioned Manassas in the email I sent you a few days ago, even though it can't be considered Country) Bye.

Hi bjorky, nice Message In A Bottle... right? I'm a bit upset because when a good album finally gets reviewed, only a handful of people check it out. I'm talking about Manassas by Donjunio, (but also many other CDs). It seems to me that the Debaserians are like certain farmers living in remote valleys; they won’t eat what they don’t know. But what’s the point of DeBaser if it’s not to discover new music?

Apple_of_sodomY, if you can't handle criticism, then it's better to let it go.

If I remember correctly, I read in some specialized magazine that during the concert where the Cramps opened for them, the presenter didn't have a good opinion of Lux Interior and the others. Supersoul, you were there, is it true or not?

Hi Iside, it’s been a while since I last saw your comments. Maybe we just haven’t crossed paths. I’m off to do some shopping.

I would spend 92 Euros on the complete Chess discography, certainly not to see the Police. By the way, I already saw them in Bologna in the 80s, and I thought it was the farewell concert of the three. I don’t quite remember who opened for them, I think it was Graham Parker, who was definitely better than the Police at the time. In any case, in the early days they made some pretty good, or even good, things, like for example Message In A Bottle.

I thought that after The River he had retired to enjoy the money earned with crap like Born in the USA. Write that the album is very enjoyable, I have no doubt about that, but he won't be getting any money from me anymore.

Is it even possible that on this site of pseudo-super-experts, an album like this is practically ignored!!! For me, it’s outrageous; these inconsistent pseudo-super-experts only know Metallica and Pink Floyd. If you mention Ronnie Hawkins or Roy Brown, they look at you blankly like clueless children.

Damn it, Rachmaninoff, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, the site is definitely gaining traction.
