I have Pornography and Disintegration by The Cure; my first listen didn't fully satisfy me, and I set them aside. I don't want to make the same mistake I made with My Bloody Valentine, whose music I grew to appreciate after re-listening, prompted by a review. It's a good opportunity to hear them again.

I've listened to them again, and even now I have them in my headphones. I must say that sometimes it would be better if I kept quiet and gave my opinion only if I know the album really well. In this case, the idea I had at first has changed; I now believe that My Bloody Valentine play music of great allure. Let's say it's acid rock, accompanying ethereal melodies, almost celestial. At least 4 tracks of high quality.

I don't agree with Poletti; I find the review to be excellent and it analyzes the film in a way that's hard to achieve. You could have mentioned the soundtrack, which is beautiful; I even bought the CD.

De Palma is always impeccable when it comes to directing technique, but for the rest, when I don't find him irritating, he leaves me cold. Good review.
