@ArnoldLayne the question is poorly posed because I wrote that they showed a bit of fatigue in the albums I mentioned, not that they are not good. In any case, in More I don't see either the genius or the inventiveness of The Piper... A Saucerful... Atom Heart... Meddle... Dark Side... Wish You... and The Wall, there are about fifteen pleasant songs, but compared to the works I mentioned, it falls short, even though almost all the tracks are credited to Waters, who is my favorite. I also wrote that this is a very personal opinion, I know well how sensitive Pink Floyd fans are, and you just confirmed that to me.

@Black from the first note Wish You Were Here is a journey, you have to close your eyes to listen to it, even though the best in my opinion are the first two. But they are all beautiful up to The Wall, showing a bit of fatigue only on More, Ummagumma, Obscured By Clouds and Animals... a very personal opinion, I know how sensitive Pink Floyd fans can be.

@N.I.B.II.O I saw Gimme Shelter 2 or 3 days ago on ARTE; I didn’t remember it was at Altamont. The guy gets stabbed in the song after Sympathy, and after Jagger had urged the rowdy crowd to calm down multiple times. That version and the one from Get Yer are both good, but Get Yer is all great; in my opinion, it’s one of the best live albums of all time. It was supposed to be a double, but I don’t know why they didn’t do it.

This concert has definitely convinced me that Sympathy for the Devil sounds better live than in the studio. It was a beautiful evening with the Stones playing their best tracks.
