Bruce Springsteen The River
Voto:
@shooting star, I also believe that Tom Petty is great. He didn’t write Thunder Road or The River, but if you know his discography, you can see that his creativity has always stayed at high levels. He composed beautiful Rock ballads. Just listen to the rhythm he sets in the first 30 seconds of American Girl to understand.

I am Lariana, and I’m not here to entertain idiots like you. At least have the courage to sign off with your nickname, even if it's fake. And then again, a nickname is always a false name. But being anonymous, besides being stupid, is also cowardly. Are you ashamed to reveal yourself with your real fake name, funny guy?

@floriano39, why are you useful? Are you funny? Is DeBaser a site where you have to write funny things? Just go shit on the wall, that's what you do best.
George Harrison Dark Horse
Voto:
Even though he has written a couple of good songs, I'm not a fan of Harrison.
Bruce Springsteen Born In The U.S.A.
Voto:
As I have already written in my opinion, The River is Springsteen's last great album. Not that he was unknown before, but Born In The U.S.A made him an international rockstar. However, even the title track has never appealed to me. The days when he wrote For You, Thunder Road, Badlands, The River, Hungry Heart are long gone.

@VU, don’t expect that when the review of born in the usa comes out, (which I don’t like) the situation will change. This is a site where some are know-it-all super-intenders who don’t give judgments, but decree. (Fortunately, not all of them) I remain of the opinion that Martin Landau was right. Write another review about Pink Floyd and speak well of Syd Barrett, rest assured that many will visit it and you will receive only praise. Or write about Roy Brown; it will be visited by a handful of DeBaseriani, but those few will appreciate you.

To me, it's Springsteen's last great album, even though I consider his best record, Born To Run. But although still a bit raw in terms of song quality, Greetings From Ashbury Park is the one I like the most.
Sydney Pollack Non Si Uccidono Così Anche I Cavalli?
Voto:
Excellent movie. As you write, it is an incredibly concrete portrait of human desperation taken to the extreme. I would add that it is one of the first films to call into question the American way of life. But it also concerns us, who live in a world where the only thing that matters is profit, self-interest, which leads people to be cynical and indifferent.
Alan Vega Collision Drive
Voto:
I have always liked Alan Vega, ever since he was in Suicide. I don't know this album.
Syd Barrett The Madcap Laughs
Voto:
As you write, I am among those who consider the subsequent work, Barrett, to be superior. But this is also a beautiful record. I do not agree when you say that Roger Waters destroyed Pink Floyd; after all, Syd was fully present only in the first beautiful album of the band. But Pink Floyd continued on just the same for many years. Without Waters' compositions, they would not have become legendary, as they are rightly regarded now.
