Billy Wilder Viale del Tramonto
Voto:
Poletti, always making lists. Wilder’s films are all beautiful… um, let’s say almost all. Among those you mentioned, I love Some Like It Hot, The Seven Year Itch, but even more The Apartment, and Kiss Me, Stupid. The Apartment is actually a dramatic film that resolves into a comedy only at the end. Kiss Me, Stupid, yes a comedy, but also a sharp satire on the middle class and its moral poverty. So I agree with Bubi and supersoul. I deliberately left out Double Indemnity, Sunset Boulevard, and Lost Days, even though I consider them all to be very beautiful.
Sergio Corbucci Django (1966)
Voto:
I haven't seen the movie, but who doesn't know the name Django? The review is well-written.
Louis Prima Capitol Collectors Series

A great idea to review this talented and little-known artist. The songs you mentioned are all enjoyable, 'Buona Sera' is perhaps the most famous. I seem to remember that Adriano Celentano did a cover of it.
Coen Brothers Il Grande Lebowski

Incredible that it's a true story.

mien_mo_man, I really love Fargo too.
John Mayall Blues From Laurel Canyon
Voto:
I also think that Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton is more "rock." Very different from "The Turning Point," while the sounds of Blues from Laurel Canyon are "pretty" similar.
Oliver Stone JFK
Voto:
I enjoyed it, and I personally tend to believe in Stone's thesis, even though the theories about Kennedy's assassination abound.
